Rosalind O’Flynn aka Peggy (nee Monk) at J. H. Monk’s “The Old Kirby’s 160 acre Farm”, in Shirley District, beyond Sooke, that he bought when he left Saltspring Island in 1944 at age 73.  The house had neither indoor plumbing, electricity nor running water.
