"This was a little planter (being used at the James Seed Company's Barnsbury Farm, SSI). I've never seen a picture or another planter like it anywhere. It was a tube planter consisting of two tubes, one for the plant, and one for water. At the base of it was a metal mouth, which opened to allow the plant to be put in the soil. After the plant and water were put in, then the machine was removed.
