The
James Family (c1911) (Jack James)
Annie and Percival, centre, with Phyllis. Back: Fred, Jack Front: Jimmy,
Harry
Annie and Percival came from the British Isles, married in Ontario, settled
on Vancouver Island in 1888. Moved to James Island, then Parker Island,
later to Salt Spring. As a seed farmer, Percival James sought out places
with conditions favourable for his branch of agriculture.
