Ganges V i l l a g e 'in 1924 - taken from an old postcard of the day . Still recognizable is Mouat's Store and the old dock. The small building near the water was formerly the bakery (operated by Mr. Baker) and acrosss the street near the present location
of the barber shop was Elliot's garage. Just to the left and at the far side of the narrow causeway stood Toynbee-'s Garage and the building in the left foreground was also a garage. Thanks to
