A rock crusher was established near the junction of Cusheon Lake Road and Fulford-Ganges Road to turn out the aggregate needed for road surfacing. Hence the title ‘Rock Crusher Corner’, which has described the place ever sin

Collins car (c1913) (Colin Mouat)

Returning from Sunday morning service at St Mark’s. Bob Collins driving with a Miss Nunn on either side with Mrs Nunn behind. Alice Collins, Bob’s sister on the running board. Alice Collins was organist at St Mark’s for twenty-five years. Mr Bullock was very fond of her and the two may have married but for the fact that Mr Bullock and her father were involved in a court case, Mr Collins feeling that he was wronged.
